Bligg enters the Swiss album chart at number one with The Bligg Picture

Bligg has gone straight in at number one on the Swiss album chart dated 11 October 2026 with “The Bligg Picture”.¹ The tracking period ran from 2 to 8 October.¹ The album came out on 2 October on Columbia (Sony).²

On his website, Bligg calls it his final studio album, a full stop after more than 300 songs and around two dozen albums.³ He last reached the top in 2023 with “Tradition”; “Tavolata” peaked at number two in 2024.²

Further down the same chart, the Ecuadorian-Swiss brothers Hermanos Gutiérrez sit at number seven with “Los ojos del cóndor”. It is their second week, after reaching number five the week before.¹⁴

What the number tells you: in that one week, no album placed above “The Bligg Picture”. What it doesn't tell you: how many copies it took, or whether it will hold on next week. The chart doesn't publish sales figures.

Next date: on 5 December 2026, Bligg plays his anniversary show at the Hallenstadion in Zurich.³
