Montreux gets a new festival of epic music in March 2027

Concert promoter Helvepic is launching Epic Montreux, a new festival devoted to epic music, on 5 and 6 March 2027 at the Auditorium Stravinski.¹² The first edition is a partnership with La Saison Culturelle de Montreux.²

Tickets go on sale on 1 October, with 10 per cent off until 18 October 2026.² Both evenings start at 8pm.² The festival page does not give ticket prices.

Look closely at the announced programme. Notebookcheck reports that these will be the first fully live concerts by 2WEI.¹ The festival website says otherwise: the collective's catalogue is rearranged for orchestra and choir, and 2WEI will not be on stage.² Performing live are Edda Hayes and the Tale of Fantasy orchestra and choir, more than 200 artists in all, conducted by Sébastien Wagnières.²
