Musik Hug moves its Zurich shop to Talacker

Since 3 October 2026, Musik Hug's Zurich shop has been at Talacker 21, a few steps from Bahnhofstrasse and Paradeplatz.¹ For musicians, the service is what matters most: the shop lists open workshops for guitars, string and wind instruments for maintenance, repair and restoration, two test rooms and a 150-square-metre rental storage area for instruments.¹

Only a small selection of keyboard instruments is available on site. Musik Hug shows upright pianos, grand pianos and digital pianos at the Piano Gallery in Bülach.¹ Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 6.30pm and Saturday from 9am to 5pm.¹ The shop page talks about a new home in Zurich; it gives no reasons for the move.¹

The number to remember: 150 square metres of rental storage for instruments.
