On 9 September 2026, Swiss Music Export (SME) presented five new records by acts from Switzerland, ranging from raï to indie folk.¹²³⁴⁵ The posts give no release dates; only the one on 7EMA says the album is already available.¹

7EMA, 'Hassan'. The debut album by the Algerian-Swiss guitarist and singer is out on Irascible and was recorded in his own studio in Bern.¹ According to SME, 7EMA aka Marwan Hemma sings in French and Moroccan Arabic.¹

Soft Loft, 'Throw the Dice'. The album is released on PIAS and, according to SME, is the band's third in three years, counting the mini-LP 'Modern Roses'.² After supporting AnnenMayKantereit in Germany over the summer, they head out on an autumn tour of the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Czechia and Austria.²

Naveni, 'Romanticising the Mess'. The third album by the singer, who grew up in Biel and now works mostly in Zurich, is self-released.³ According to SME, Radio SRF 3 had named her its 'Best Talent' for the month of August.³

Linda Wolf, 'Dreaming & Drowning'. The Bernese singer-songwriter's second album is released on Mouthwatering Records, produced by Rico Baumann.⁴

The Gardener & The Tree, 'SOLE'. The band from Schaffhausen are releasing a six-song mini album on Nettwerk Music.⁵ SME credits them with more than 100 million streams.⁵
