We are redesigning music.ch. That’s why things are different here than before.

Why are we redesigning music.ch?

For the last four years, music.ch has been running on a script that initially felt quite good to us, but quickly aged over the years and finally went completely to the dogs. The last few months of music.ch have once again been an imposition. Google advertising ran amok and the ads, well, most of them had expired.

What’s changing?

We have reorganized the technical platform. The new content management system allows us to manage it more sustainably than in the recent past.

What does this mean for you as a user?

We have not taken over any data from the old platform. On the contrary: we will completely delete this old data by the end of September 2024. You will therefore need a new user account to enter ads on music.ch or to get in touch with existing ones.

What about your (paid) ads on the old platform?

You will need to create new free ads on the old platform.

If you have paid us money in the last few weeks to create an ad, you will be contacted by us by the end of August. We will double the amount you invested and provide you with a credit in the form of a coupon code.

What happened to the instruments or equipment categories?

Don’t panic. In the first step, we are focusing on the music exchange and its expansion. Right after that, we will gradually bring back the other categories and more.
